Our Story

Harvest Fly Farm was founded on the importance of keeping happy animals.

We began raising our own pigs in Texas and realized how amazing it was to produce clean, nutrient-dense food for our family from the pigs we loved and cared for. This love helped us choose to expand our operation and include producing food for our community. After moving back to our family’s hometown, we started building our farm from the ground up - literally - in the high desert of Cora, Wyoming. Today we raise Jersey cows for dairy, heritage-breed Navajo Churro sheep for meat and fiber, pasture-raised broilers, and American Guinea hogs, all with a focus on pasture-based management, healthy soil, and hardy livestock. Our goal is simple: to raise honest food for our community with care and responsibility.

American Guinea Hogs are a hardy, slow-growing heritage breed that thrive in our cold climate, convert forage efficiently, and produce richly marbled pork.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
